Location: Lepanto, Puntarenas, Costa Rica
This remarkable property is located on 18 acres, nestled in the wooded hills bordering the Nicoya Gulf. Panoramic views extend for miles in the valleys and hills where no homes or development is seen. There are 4 buildings on the property: a 2-story main house with towering ceilings and an indoor pool, a newly built residential 4-bedroom home with pool, a new cabin of teak wood, and another cabin over a wooden bridge, offeing privacy and serenity. It is located just above the village of Montaña Grande and has all the necessary infrastructure (water, electricity 110/240, internet, telephone, paths, etc.).
Two year-round streams run through the property and one has pools and a small waterfall. There is always a nice, refreshing breeze even on the hottest days.
Despite the quiet location, a school and a bar with restaurant in Montaña Grande are only 3 minutes away by car. The nearest larger shopping facilities in Lepanto and Jicaral can also be reached in 10-15 minutes. In Jicaral there is also a modern hospital, dentists, pharmacies, banks, petrol station, car and motorcycle maintenance and all essentials. The ferry to Playa Naranjo is 25 minutes away, numerous good restaurants and beautiful beaches can be reached in 15 - 30 minutes. The Gulf of Nicoya is just 20 minutes away for snorkeling, fishing, island tours, kayaking and other water sports. The National Park of Curu is 45 minutes away.
The location is perfect as a family compound or hotel/retreat catering to people with a love of nature and tranquility. The design of the main house and cabins are perfect for doing yoga or meditation.
At $10 per meter, it would be a fair price just for the land. This price, however, includes the land, the buildings and the infrastructure making this a great bargain.
