Barefoot Villa is a 4-bedroom, 3 full/2 half bath luxury villa in the prestigious K section of Guiones. Located on a quiet, dead-end road, it’s just south of the Harbor Reef hotel, a short walk to Guiones Beach, and a 10-minute walk to the Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort.
Designed for indoor/outdoor living, the kitchen/family room opens to a covered patio with a second lounging area and a Guanacaste dinner table for eight. The gated private terrace includes lush tropical gardens, a pool, swim-up barstools, an outdoor bar at the rancho, an outdoor kitchen, half bath, outdoor shower, and laundry room.
The gourmet kitchen features stainless appliances, a gas stove, granite countertops, custom Pochote cabinetry, and an island seating six. We can arrange for meal prep by a local cook, with groceries ready before your arrival.
The living room has a 50” flat-screen TV with satellite, “Apple TV,” a DVD player, and wireless speakers.
The four air-conditioned bedrooms are accessed via a stair tower. Three are on the second floor: one with full bunk beds and a bathroom, another with a queen bed and bathroom, and a third that can be arranged with a king and single bed or three single beds, with a connecting door option. The top floor features the luxurious Master Suite with vaulted teak ceilings, teak floors, dual balconies, a king-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual sinks.
The house has a whole-house attic fan for cooling airflow during the day. At night, the fan allows you to enjoy jungle sounds with bedrooms’ windows and doors open.
For security, Barefoot Villa has nightly patrols, an alarm system, two large safes, and metal security bars on windows and doors. The patio features controlled roll-down bars for a kid-safe zone.
Custom-made furniture from local hardwoods like Pochote, Teak, and Guanacaste complements the teak ceilings throughout the villa.
Barefoot Villa’s ideal location means you don’t need to rent a car. It’s a four-minute walk to the beach and a short walk to various local amenities, while still offering a quiet retreat. Complimentary items include five beach cruiser bikes, beginner/intermediate surfboards, boogie boards, ‘Beater’ boards, and beach chairs. The property also features a gated driveway and outdoor bodega.
