This property is about a kilometer off Highway 243 on Calle Luz de Luna. It features a house and 2.5 acres gently rolling terrain adorned with fruit trees. The access from the paved road is very good. The drive time to the beach is around 30 minutes and only about 20 minutes to downtown San Isidro de El General.
The property features a rustic house with currently livable kitchen, living room, bedroom, bath and laundry area. There is also an upstairs section offering loads of more space, but it needs some work. There is also a separate structure with a large workshop and bodega.
There is plenty of usable space on the property for additional structures or for cultivation. There is also a year-round creek that borders the property on the back side.
The area of Tinamastes has become a hotbed of expat activity. It is where the weekly "organic" market takes place, which has become quite a large gathering with expats from all parts of the zone in attendance each week. It is also home to many expat oriented sustainable communities.
The gorgeous vertical ridge of Tinamastes, which this property offers dramatic views of, features the highest waterfall in the country at around 200 meters. This area has loads of flora and fauna and an altitude offering a considerably cooler climate than the coast.
